I bought one of those Bashan mc114 mopeds. I thought it looked great and would have a good power train. I found that I couldn't get used to the auto clutch and the backwards shift pattern. The flywheel effect of that heavy autoclutch forced a long wait between gear changes while waiting for the rpms to come down to a reasonable level. It just didn't work for me. I found the answer for me to be swapping the engine/trans out for a Jialing 125 with manual clutch and standard shift pattern sold for pit bikes. Now I have a really nice little street ped for getting around town.
