hmm...... 2.5 ugga duggas on my good gun is way more than 11-12 ft lbs...LOL but then again, my GOOD gun is a snap on MG725... given the 1180ft lb capability, 2.5 ugga duggas would be more in the 590 ft lb range...

I have one of those! Never had a reason to use it on a motorcycle... yet.

I was talking something a bit more "normal" for "normal people" in their home. If we want to go Super Duty rated professional tools then that would be 3/4 of an ugga, no dugga.

thats more better-er....the joys of being a lawn/garden/compact utility tractor mechanic, you get end up buying fun toys to play with...

take for instance, somthing a normal homeowner would never need, but when you see an average of 50-100 grease fittings in a day, and all take 5-10 pumps of grease, you end up with one of these....

bogie, you are quite correct, we have a couple of them. Of course, mine is always empty. We always have a few cases of the tubes on hand, but last night, cant find a single communistic tube! Had to run down a guy by the name of oreilly and pay an outrageous price, but the job was finished.

But wait....the rest of the story....since I am old school, and my favorite old school, hand pumper, greasing device, was made by "Alemite." Still has the red painting, but of course was empty as well.

Now folks you do know I was mostly kidding about big Dan coming to me for advice right? Trust me, he is perfectly capable of setting plug gap by himself.

Tighten until you strip threads and then an additional 3/4 turn for good measure.
