Amazon or dealer

Hey guys FNG here, alright i think I’m gonna buy myself a tbr7. Now tx power sports has them and I also found one on Amazon. The price is pretty similar but tx power sports is a few hundred more but it also seems like I’ll get the Texas title and all that stuff with it. Now my question is which do I buy from. Amazon or txpowersports.

If you're in Texas, it's a matter of convenience over cash. I picked mine up from TXPowersports and they gave me a temp plate and took care of all the paperwork. However, I could've saved a bunch in sales tax had I ordered from a dealer out of state and filed all my own paperwork.

Txpowersports is a “Manny” dealership ,search our site for Manny before spending your money .

Amazon may charge you sales tax based on your local tax rate. I've ordered stuff from them that comes from another state and Amazon still charges me tax. Try going thru the checkout process without totally completing it to see if they apply sales tax. You can always delete the item before confirming the order. Also, make sure you read the terms and conditions the seller has if it's being sold and shipped by them and not Amazon.

In most states like Illinois if you don't pay Amazon's sales tax you will pay when you go to get it plated

Yeah, that's true. Here in Texas they get you for 6.25% tax on vehicle sales. Even if you pay our normal 8.25% sales tax you don't get refunded the difference.

I paid tax when I got mine plated, but I had gone through Venom. Seems tax will come out one way or the other (front end or back end).
