Pics I've been promising for Spud, for all to enjoy!

I had a free moment, unusual in my life, do I took the camera to the garage to snap some pics to share with you all!

In no particular order:

Some pics of the hills around the house where I ride. By just going to the end of my street I can hunt, plink, ride ATV's or dirtbikes. The hills are green(ish) this time of year. Spring in the desert is a wonderful time. warm/cool temps, not hot or cold, pretty dry, sunny, and the dust is down. In mid summer the dirt turns to talc like dust in many places and makes it hard to ride.

The garage from the outside.

Some of the 'simple controls and instrument panel/GPS on the Wing

The Wings HO 6 cylinder fuel injected 1850cc mill. Art in it's purset form.

Diesel fueled shop heater went almost unused this 'winter' which never happened, fine by me. I put my compresser and the heater on wheels to help me not hurt my back moving them around...

The rolling restoration of the 1977 KZ400

PO of KZ generously put on brand new Avons prior to selling it to me. 8)

No oil leak!

Fixed the fork seals

Low mileage!

This is a boot I removed/replaced. You can see where there is supposed to be an O ring ridge molded in but had been mong ago flattened.

One of the boots I replaced, ATV silicone!

'New' boots look good but leak, but I have new gaskets on the way and I think I know what sealer to use when I get them.

Some rolling tool cabinets and work benches.

The 2 Honda Recons are my buddy Ron's. They are here temporarily while we fix them up.

Wing a ding ding.

My namesake.

Tonto the Truck.

Another shop view.

My ATV I'll be riding all day today! I'm playing hookey!

Those are beautiful photographs, Doc; thank you for sharing them! The KZ400 looks wonderful; I get nostalgic every time I look at it. Indeed, the Gold Wing is a piece of art. However, I suspect the QLink XP200 is a bit more nimble riding around town!

Q went to work with me yesterday for just that reason. My last patient was at 5, I had a meeting at 6. I rode Q for 1/2 hour on some trails near my office. I was in my nice clothes and got a little dusty, but it was great! :P . Then I rode to the meeting and then home. A true 'do it all' machine. I really like my Q-Zuki!

Cool pics thanks... Man, maybe I should be a doc, then I could afford all the toys I don't think I'd make it even too school for that though.

I was thinking this topic may fit better in misc, pics and vids, or other bikes (with the kz and goldwing), do you have any preference doc, or would you prefer I just leave it alone?

Also, I love the plate on the truck.

Feel free to move it, I just semirandomly put it here, and it's not the best place for it.

Great photos, Doc! Thanks for sharing!

I love the personalized plates on the Vette and truck, good stuff!

I think the only thing missing is the plane! No hanger and runway on that property YET, I see.

Q is feeling left out with that plain plate. Maybe DirtDoc is appropriate.

You are a very observant man, Allen! Either "MyQ," or "DirtDoc" is a very fitting license plate for the QLink.

Yes, "Qzuki" is the best vanity plate for the QLink XP200!

Thanks for the nice words, gents.

QZUKI is as good as done. I'll try to go to the DOL website soon and see if it's available, it must be!

The garage is not so clean in person, actually it's a bit of a mess with those extra machines in it now.

As far as being able to afford it, I can't. Since the divorce, lawyer bills, alimony, etc I'm working an extra job on my former day off to pay the bills. I can't get the house sold as it is at the very top end of a soft real estate market. :(

As far as the schooling goes, you're looking at getting straight A's from junior high on pretty much for the rest of your life to advance to the next step. Then 12 years after high school to get your post-doctorate training. Then you start work. Oh yeah, by the way, you'll be about a half million dollars in the hole with debt nowadays. 8O

There are much easier, but not better (for me at least) ways to make a living.
