I don´t know about the other carbureted friends (at Colombia), but here at Argentina the cheapest fuel has 95 octanes, while the expensive one has 98.

Perhaps that´s why we -usually- doesn´t suffer the stalling issue here.

Top Tier Fuel or a good Fuel System Cleaner (usually something with "PEA" like Techron) would be better than going with the wrong grade of fuel... only go with a higher grade of fuel if you are having 'detonation/pinging issues'

Sorry if I misunderstood what you are saying, but from what I read, it sounds like you are going to use the wrong grade of fuel thinking it will clean better

Having two RX3's now, it's amazing the things one notices.

My white one, I have perfectly, analy done. Everything is tight, lubed, connected, adjusted....and sometimes (rarely) it stalls.

The blue one I just got from my brother? Just this weekend I found the valves were out of adjustment, BOTH battery cables were completely loose, nothing was adjusted correctly and the right filter screen was loose and dripping....and it runs perfectly and never has stalled on him once. Go figure....

Great! Now you know what should do with the white one!

My AJP is the PR4, so it doesn't have the NC250 motor like the RX-3 has, but it is top shelf suspension and great build quality....I'll have to get some real trail time on it to give a good opinion, the weather hasn't been cooperating since I bought the PR4......hoping to hit the trAils this weekend ....

I already do that and I use the Lucas oil additives. So, I'll try the fuel pump first and go from there.

I still think it has to do with the IAC not keeping up with the sudden closed-throttle demand on occasion. What's causing it not to react is another story. Is it the IAC itself (sticky pintel?) or a sensor or ECM not feeding it the proper info in time?

Another one who`s bike stalls.

I`ve changed my riding style when I`m on my RX3.
I find mine will stall sometimes when rolling off the throttle after a hard blast at higher revs.
So now as I come down the revs/gears, I blip the throttle once or twice.

Not a cure but at least I don`t end up at the side of the road trying to start it again
I wonder if these bikes are running to lean and the fuel injection/electronic wizardry cant cope at times???
