coolster exhaust

I bought a used coolster 110cc for my son. The exhaust routes below the frame.

Did the guy I bought it from assemble it wrong or is this really how they build them?

I will post pictures when I am home.

Not sure on the Coolsters but my Kandi's were routed the same way. Haven't bent mine yet but that could be because I still haven't got them out.

yeah. My son has already hit it on a rock but it didn't bend yet. I know it's only a matter of time.

No pictures yet, my phone didn't survive it's trip in the pool.
