I've always had great success with Givi bags, or their lesser cousins, Shad. With the existing Zongshen brackets, it should not be difficult to install the backing plates, maybe on steel cross bracing. And as Spud has already noted, Pelican bags are available but would require some internal reinforcement around the bolt holes or an L-bracket to rest the bags on and transfer some of the weight to the existing bolts.

What I do see is us all having a great time making and comparing mods and farkles.
