not sure if they are exactly the same or if it makes a difference but the TT250 service manual lists

Bore x Stroke 66.5mm x 66.2mm

I have found a cylinder with a 70mm bore. Still confirming with manufacturer if it fits the CG engine. Been on Whatsapp all night with different suppliers......

The CSC uses a square bore engine and is counter balanced. It claims about 16 HP and the Hawk engine doesn't have that and is about 14 HP. Both are good engines but different.

67x65= 229cc
70x65= 250cc
21cc or 11% more.
could be good for another 1.5/2hp

67mm bore by 65mm stroke. A 70mm bore on that same stroke is close to 250cc. A 10% improvement in displacement. Should give a 10% improvement in torque. And at least that much of an improvement in HP. The question is if the cases and the case bolt pattern will cover a 70mm bore....ARH

I recall there being a 177FMM??? (77 being the bore). I'm not sure if it was water cooled or not.
W&G or culcune or some other CR old-timer will know better than I, if they chime in.

I only ever saw large-bore engines like that on Taobao. It's tempting, but I'm not going to order one.
