Interesting ride today....

I saw the image painted on some barn doors and stopped to introduce myself to a guy named James. I asked if I could take a picture and he said I could. That led to a conversation where we told stories about our youth, his grandparents, our motorcycles (he has a Harley), and how strange it is that you always feel Ok right after being badly injured like being hit in the head or walking around on broken ankles. But shortly after that the pain starts and reality sets in.
Anyway here is the pic:

James said that his Grandfather had that painted on the barn doors and his Grandmother liked it so much she made a quilt with that image on it. And that he has that quilt now that his Grandmother has passed on.
Today was a very good day.

Looks to be the result of an unfortunate liaison between a VW van and a Cub Cadet lawnmower...

Looks like some little European truck built for their tiny roads and alleyways. Or perhaps a family of dwarves?

I also searched for Cushman trucks. I had no idea Cushman made vans, trucks, pickup trucks, and all sorts of odd, but useful, vehicles.

Cushman make a ton of smaller simple vehicles used in factories ,warehouses ,huge commercial facilities ,hospitals ,universities etc ,some of the mines in my area have used them before so I have seen and worked on many styles of them before .They are kind of like a golf cart ,or John Deere Gator etc . But Cushman was around before all of them .

It looks perfect for Rodney Dangerfield's mobile bar.

Had the KPR 200 out again today and found this old bridge. It used to be the only way across the river before they closed the road and built new roads. I took the pic standing on the new bridge that replaced the old one.

Clicking on the photo makes it bigger and easier to see.

I took a walk on that bridge and while there is plenty of evidence of folks fishing from the bridge (lots of fishing line complete with lures hanging from a phone/tv cable next to the bridge) there is no guarantee any fish were actually caught.
