You are correct..the three Coolster DX2 150's I have ordered all have the shifter tucked in nicely. My new Tao Tao Bull 200 the shifter will hit you in the leg putting it into reverse.
Nice looking pic. My brother has that same color Coolster DX2. I like that autumn red color.

DAng! With those cool photos you almost have me sold on getting another one!LOL
I will throw up a few of mine to. May be enough to put "uphill" over the edge and pull the trigger on a new DX2.

Nice! I see you flipped the rear wheels on one of them too. Those pictures are before I flipped them. With the center line of the rear wheels being off centered it's like putting wheel spacers. Notice the valve stems are on the inside.

MAAAAAN those puppies look like they can get the job done! Glad to see passengers are no problem too. Do the DX2's have the kickstart?

Yes it has a kick start. I could post a picture of my wife and one of her heavy duty friends on the back but I don't think they would want me to. lol

My wife rides on back with me without any problem. We are a combined weight of around 370 lbs. 255 lbs of that is me. I am also around 6'2" and I don't feel cramped up on the atv.

Here is my Green camo one climbing some hills. For 150cc it is fairly capable.

NICE climb! The trails it'd see here would all be a lot easier.

Are these cold blooded starters with stock carbs?

These things are jetted a bit lean to meet California emission standards. So they will benefit from a rejecting during winter months if you live somewhere that gets frigid. Not hard to do. Just have to slot out the screws on carb bowl with a Dremel so you can access jet. Or just let it warm up awhile when it's cold. The electric choke works pretty good.

I live in the south so the cold is not a problem. The auto choke work great.

Yeah..the first two Coolster 150's I ordered had tire tread like yours....so you can run them in either direction. So we chose to run them so the rim offset made the rear wider. When I ordered new ITP mud lite tires for both them units...those tires are directional, so I mounted them so to take advantage of the wider stance.
My third Coolster 150 came with directional rear tread tires..so I opted to just to put wheel spacers on the rear of that one.
I think most of the new Coolster 150's have the new directional rear tire tread design....so you can't cheat like we did with the tires that are not directional tread like on the earlier models.

All you had to do is swap the tires and rim from one side of the bike to the other then they will be going the right direction.
