As an update, Midlife and I continued part of this discussion by text yesterday. He found a 110 main jet and will try that and let us know.

installed the yamaha 110 main and got it to idle nice and seems to have more get up and go......waiting for wife to get back from shopping so I can go get some gas lol

well I guess i did something right because i was able to turn a foot path on the property into a quad trail

took it over to Welds place tonight because it was not running properly again... :(

we ended up oiling to new uni-filter ( i forgot) and then re-routing the throttle cable a bit and weld adjusted the valves and wala she seams to be purring nicely. will test it tomorrow and if all is good we are going out for a ride thursday.

messed up again.....all goes well until you get to (and beyond) 1/2 throttle.

changed the needle and cup with diaphram from old carb and adjusted air/fuel mixture and idle and kelly seems to be happy with it now after taking it for a ride here ....so we will wait till it cools down a bit and take them up the road to see how hers performs wile riding.
