ready to ride powersports

Has anyone had any dealings with these guys? The web site looks good, and every time I have called someone has answered the phone! Thinking of ordering an ATA 250D atv from them.

Site does look good although found it hard to find the model number you're mentioning.

A lot of the units look like what Gio sells in Canada (dirt bikes especially) and some similarities to Tao Tao. HOwever a lot of these Chinese products look similar.

I have never heard of them before, but the marketing mantra on the site looks good. Perhaps there are others who have heard of them.

Manufacturer: TT
Model: 250-D HUNTER UTILITY
RTRCode: (ATV-99-rtr)

Here is what they call it on the web site. I haved looked at these ATVs on several different sites and they have a different name but all look like the same ATV. TAO TAO ATA 250D. I had one ordered from olson powersports, and they sent me notification they was going to refund my credit card, and they did, and then they called me and wanted me to wire them the money or do a check buy phone. That spooked me, so I thought I might try these guys. Unless someone has a better place to go to. Thanks for responding

I would be cautious about anyone wanting a check over the phone too.

Not sure if that is the same model that is reviewed in the ATV forum.

Well its been 7 buisness days sense the order was placed. I have emailed and talked to my sales man, and he answers the emails and the phones every time, so far so good. He is telling me 10 to 14 buisness days to ship.

10-14 days is not out of the way, or unreasonable, for what they claim to be selling you.

Shipping is about 7 business days (I'm assuming you are not paying a "fast ship" premium).

I would be pretty sure that they un-crate, and assemble/check, to order, then re-package, and ship.

You are in the height of "the season", meaning: your order is in line, these numbers don't seem unreasonable.

I fully realize that once you make the decision (and get your money out) it is hard to be patient, I know I wouldn't be, but whatever is going on it is within reason. Please let us know how you make out.

I called them today to see what is going on and the salesman has no idea where my order stands or why it hasen't been shipped. He said he would find out whats going on and get back with me. Starting to worry a little!
