I went on a 2 hour ride this afternoon. Well, an hour and half. I ran through a swarm of bees and at least 2 got almost into my helmet and I know for a fact at least 3 more went into my black leather & nylon mesh riding jacket. Amazingly, none of them stung my face as I was trying to frantically remove it, but got 6 large whelps on my back mostly between my shoulder blades from the ones that went into my jacket. Hard to get those thick armored/padded stiff jackets off fast when being stung all over. ( CE insert pads ) Got home and took 6 Benadryl and 4 inbproffin and crashed out on the couch for 4 hours.
