It would be nice for the smaller towns and cities to realize that they do not need 1600cc+ motorcycles to write traffic tickets.

The RX-3 has one huge hurdle to be accepted as a police bike. Harley, Kawasaki (When they did the KZ1000) and BMW all lease their bikes to the various departments and all the services are done at the local dealership under contract.

I doubt any medium to large sized department is going to change this paradigm, and a small operation would have to have someone on staff or a local dealer willing to do the work.

That's an uphill battle.

I am begging Indian/Victory/Harley to make a standard decent handling motorcycle like the MG V7, Yamaha XRS 900 or the BMW R Nine Scrambler. Can I have an American brand that's not a cruiser please???

I wish someone would manufacture a bike in the United States that wasn't a cruiser.
