Hi

Currently running a Apollo AGB 30 Dirt bike with a Zongshen 250cc engine

Located in UK and can't seem to find any dealers

Wondering if anyone has links to download workshop Manuel for the Zongshen 250cc engine

There should be a model number on the engine somewhere to identify the specific engine. That may help to narrow the search for a manual. Someone here might already have the info for you if you post it.

The good news is that the engine is cloned from the CG125, which is very popular in the UK. Our Chinese friends have bored and stroked it to either 223 or 229 (not actually 250).

You'll find most of the parts on eBay, if you keep your searches quite generic. The people who post the items for sale often don't understand motorcycles. An example is "dirt bike clutch." Don't bother with brand names.

Interesting to note engine is a cloned CG125 bored out. Should be Ok for parts as these bike are very popular in UK.

Engine number is ZS 167EMM 87401765

Bike is Apollo AGB 30B 2007 Y5M

If anyone has any contacts for manuals please let me know.

People run down the Chinese bikes but this bike is very well built. It a bit heavy but welding is good and very soild.

Do not know history of bike but I think its 2007 model as this is indicated on frame number plate and engine number is same as on frame plate.

paintwork is Om but there are sign of small rust marks coming through but metal is so thick it not going to fall apart!

Engine has been out but looks OK with no oil leaks. Time will tell.

Not really had a chance to try out yet. Just wanted to make sure everything worked and I could get parts before I spent to much on it.

Will give a review as soon as refurb finished.

Yes I took all the plastics and fixing brackets off as wanted to give a more rugged look.

Bike came without a battery so its kick start only at the moment.

Also there was no air filter box so using a round double foam air filter but its not fitted yet. (and no haven't been running engine without an air filter!)

Just bought new handle bars in red anodised finish as existing bars are bent and I can't bend them in right position as I don't have a big enough vice to hold them.

The new bars only cost £9 so worth the change and will look smarter

Will post some more photos when it's a bit more together.

Great setup, I am waiting for the launch of the KTM 250cc Adventure bike (https://www.mototechindia.com/best-250cc-bikes-india/) that is expected to launch this year. Their dirt bikes portfolio is good but I need a small capacity adv tourer. I was going for the Versys 250 but after the launch of 390 ADV, I am really excited about the launch of the ADV 250. I hope it comes with good equipment set like the bigger brother.
