    Albert,

I'm glad I found your message. I never check this part of the forum, and I'm not notified if someone posts something here.

Yes, a Zongshen stator/pickup coil will fit perfectly in your TW200. If you purchase or fabricate the correct wiring harness, the Zongshen CDI unit will work with the Zongshen stator/pickup coil.

If you want to communicate further, send me a personal message, since I probably won't notice any conversions you post.

    Hello SpudRider,

I've got a 90s TW200 and in search of a solution for replacing the CDI. I've read some of your past posts on TW200forums and here in Chinariders with a lot of interest in the possibility of using 200gy-2 parts to save money on replacing the cdi.

I've looking into getting an Ignitech cdi for the TW but I'm still on the fence since it will be over $250 usd after paying for it and shipping/customs to Hanoi, Vietnam where I live.

So I'm thinking that using a 200gy-2 stator assembly, pickup-coil and cdi to replace the parts in my TW might work? Possibly need the zong regulator/rectifier to be safe?

My main concern is whether the stator will fit in the magneto of the TW (gap from magneto walls, distance to pickup coil if the stator does bolt in). What do you think?

Well thanks for hearing me out. I'd appreciate any advice you can give.

    Best regards,
    Albert
