Hi Lbrown.. Yes.. Awesome bike.. still modifying mine. Haven't even started it yet! I'm respoking the stock Paladin hubs to new 17" hoops. Cheaper than those beautiful warp9 cast wheels, but still about $650 Incl. tires. Waiting on spokes to finish the rear wheel. I have stock hoops and stock tires. Should be Helluva Sumo! Looks like KTM dumped their older designs/molds/parts etc, and wow, the quality is beyond belief. A little rough around the edges, but at 275LBs nearly unbeatable. The KLX300 is will into the 300's. Light weight and shorter makes it flickable. Enjoy!
I just got a paladin 309 myself and it’s awesome. I want to convert this to a sumo and I’ve already got the wheels in tires in. Just waiting on some more research before I put them on. Do you have the stock wheels and tires still?
