In my experience so far...
All of my non-balanced CG's are like a blender until they're broke in, then smooth out pretty well.....or I adjust to it. The non-balanced motor also seems a very quiet running motor, mechanically. The counterbalanced motor was really nice out of crate, noticeably smoother than the non-balanced....and has gotten a little smoother now that it's broke in, especially at speed....but it is more mechanically noisy. I'm not too worried about the chain drive oil pump since some older Lifan's have gotten a boatload of miles (50k) out of them prior to needing a chain. Trade offs.... Six-a dozen....half another uh one.... |

just curious but can a tubeless tire be mounted to the rims on the hawk or am I limited to tube type tires on my replacement. got about 5000 mi out of stock tire trying to find a more street worthy tire.:hmm: keep finding a lot of tires with good reviews but unfortunately are tubeless

I installed a front tubless Shinko 705 with the inner tube that the Hawk came with.I put around 500 miles on it with no issues.

Approximately a quart, more or less. There is a window gauge to see how much is in there, you should try to keep the level approximately halfway between the bottom and top of the gauge.
|
According to the http://therps.net/ website, the specifications show 0.26 gallons of oil which is 1.04 quarts. Not sure why the manual says 1.60?
