We did 12.5 again. That includes a bunch of driving in KS with a trailer too.
|
Been watching this trailer. Likely the axles are bent from being overloaded.

That looks like a good foundation.

Its still at a good price.

Monday was a busy day for the Big Gulp. Picked up a new trailer and a lawnmower. The trailer needs the brakes rewired and I am getting a set of matching wheels and tires soon. Also plan to put new LED lights on it. Will be hauling the minivan to Minnesota and a load of tools and shop items back.
I picked up the mower for $250. Runs and mows. Needs an oil leak fixed, new tires, and a new battery. We just got back from the car wash. Blasted all the grease and oil off so I can find the leak. |
Love the trailer.
Do you plan to flip the mower? What powers it? |
I plan to keep the mower. It has a 19hp Kawasaki twin. I think it is leaking where the two halves of the case comes together. Gasket failed. Will just replace all the seals and gaskets. New tires and a battery and it should be mowing.
I wish the trailer was slightly wider. Full size vehicles will be a tight fit. |
Gulp did 13.5 tonight. Most of those are local miles with about 100 miles towing the trailer.
|
Not bad. Have you thought about changing the O2 sensors? Good quality units are cheap these days; even Bosch heated units run around the $40 mark, and they might step up your economy even more.
|
I have thought about doing some tune up items. Changed an O2 sensor on the minivan and the mileage jumped 5 mpg. If I can pick up 1 mpg with Big Gulp it would be worth it.
www.rockauto.com. Great place for parts. I am going to pick up new rotors and pads for the minivan. I think I will get new O2 sensors for Big Gulp and a PCV valve. I don't want to touch the ignition system. It runs fine. If I blow another plug then we will go into that. The AC blows nice and cold out of the home depot irrigation covers they stuck into the ceiling vents. I do have a water leak in the back. I thought it was rain water, but it may be coming from the rear AC unit. Noticed today after I had it on that there was a puddle on the floor under the area. The drain may be plugged. No carpet in the back. It was really dirty and wet when I picked it up. Will be placing a horse stall mat back there. |
$43 for the upstream and $45 for the downstream. I already have the tool. Someplace.
|
Is that a Bosch? I find that a couple of extra $ for the Bosch unit is worth it.
|
That is for the motorcraft parts. I like to use OE stuff.
|
Me too. You might find that Bosch is the OE. It typically is for Ford.
|
It may be. Probably Motorcraft by Bosch.
