Do you have a manual? This will give you a step by step on how and what you need to take off.

^this. I don't have the link to the PDF file on hand, but there is one floating around this site somewhere. Or somebody will link it sooner or later.

You may need to order a tool or two if you don't already have them.

To get the oil spinner and clutch apart you will need one of these guys.
https://www.amazon.com/Locking-Remov...mm+clutch+tool

You will see a nut with 4 notches cut out of it, that is where this tool comes into play.

Also, before you try splitting the cases the cylinder head and cylinder will need to be removed. Just keep that in mind.

Okay thanks! Ya just quickly glancing at the manual makes things looks 10x easier than without it.

And if you don't want to order and wait for the tool you can make one from an old socket with a grinder. The older manual I emailed you even shows how to make one.

Yes it does. Take plenty of pictures as you take it apart. This will help you when you put it back together. Can't always rely on memory especially when you get to my age. lol

Pictures and/or notes. Sometimes I will scribble a rough diagram of the bolt positions in relation to their lengths and stuff it in the baggie with all the hardware.

You’ll need the tool megadan linked to take off oil spinner I also agree with taking down the cylinder head and piston first. You’ll also want to use an impact screwdriver to take off oil spinner. Them three Phillips head screws are really cheap and will strip without an impact. The flywheel and starter clutch do not need to be removed. The yellow plastic gear also doesn’t need to be removed. Once you have the top end removed, the clutch , the oil spinner, and the gear shifter removed use a rubber mallet and tap around the block and it should split. Make sure you have the side that has the flywheel down like in your pic thats the way it should be when you split it otherwise all gears will fall out everywhere.
