the big problem is getting the bike i can get a pickup truck but it has a cap on it that cant come off the bike would have to ride on its side for 150 miles.
what do you think of the wildfire wfg 200 LDB i found that for $1297 plus $220 shipping, |
Get the Q.
Pay a buddy's gas to drive you there and ride it home. We really know these bikes well. We've owned them and discussed them for years. The Q is a superior machine by a wide margin. The cost is close enough to make it a pretty clear choice. The Hondoid/Lifanoid will be fun too, but in the long run will cost more, be harder to get some parts for, have less retail value, not perform as well, etc. I have owned the three main Chinabikes. 2 Q's, 2 Zongs, and 2 Lifanoids (one is my friends, he still has it, but I assembled and maintain it for him) and the Zong and the Q are really better bikes. Between the Zong and the Q the Q is much more readily available, and a better dual sport mount out of the box. The Zong requires significant modification for true off road duty. JMHO :D |
Why can't the cap come off of the pickup?
Does the pickup have a hitch that could haul a utility trailer? |
Know anyone with a minivan? I have hauled them in vans. Just remove the mirrors. Use the rear seat mounts to strap the bike down.
Otherwise enterprise rents trucks/vans. So does uhaul. You would only need it a day. Stay away from wildfire. They are like the cheapest china bikes. Any local chinariders that could help him out. Probably to cold and snow covered to ride it home in PA. |

thanks for your help im going to try to get this bike and when or if i do im sure i will be picking your brains for information
|
I think you will be much happier with the qlink than the other options you had found.
|
in PA
weiser, I have registered 2 china bikes in PA, it probably will not come with a title, but an MSO,,and it better be on the right paperand be completely correct! and a odometer statement and bill of sale or it will be a NO GO!I had a mound of trouble with the pitster ,but finally got it thru. You'd be better of taking all the members suggestions or come look at my nearly new zong with a ton of extra parts and complete extra set of trail wheels and tires.
|
More good advise. Fishman has a Zong with a Spudwheel, IIRC so it is an excellent off road machine. Combine that with the extra Supermoto wheels and you are good to go. Get the Zong or the Q, or heck get both. You won't be sorry.
|
I did win the bid on the Q and got it for $ 400.00 less than he stated If everything goes good I get it on monday its already inspected and he is going to put a plate on it
|
GREAT NEWS AND A GREAT DEAL!!!!!!!
You made a very wise choice and a good purchase. You will be pleased. I bet you can rent a minivan from one of the major agencies for $50 for the day unlimited mileage if you need too. Most minivans do good on gas too. |
the friend with the pickup has a cap but it a high one, he thinks it will fit
|
Congatulations. I am sure you will be happy with that bike. Keep us posted how it works out.

Great deal. I think you will be happy with that purchase. The Q is probably the best out of the box dual sport china bike. The Zong is a close second and becomes a tie with some mods. Allen |
Many yars ago when I rode dirt bikes, we needed to use a friends dad's truck that had a camper top on the back. As I recall, we would loosen the clamps on the handle bars and roll the bars back to get enough room for them to get under the opening.
