It could be tough to find slow jets for that carb. A 30mm Mikuni is much easier. Here's one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carburetor-A...c1c85d&vxp=mtr

hey weld

where can i find the replacement jets for the 30mm mikuni carb.

i ordered the carb but want to up the jets like you recommended.

110 main and should i do 30 0r 25

Weldangrind 01-29-2015 06:44 PM

The slow jet choice depends on your specific bike and your elevation. With a stock pipe near sea level, I'd stick with a 25. With a free-flowing muffler, try a 30. Whatever your bike needs to start quickly and idle smoothly.

Another way to look at it is if the pilot mixture screw needs to be backed out more that two full turns, your slow jet is too small.

Remove the slow jet and main jet from your carb and then hit www.jetsrus.com. Compare the jets from your Mikuni to the jets in the pictures, and ensure that the measurements match. Once you've found a match, you'll learn what the numerical designation is for your jets, and which point you can shop at www.jetsrus.com or eBay.

Mine came with a 20 and a 100. Needle has not been touched starts with a quick bump of the starter or 1 -2 kicks, I'm leaving mine like it is for now.

Nydirtbike 01-31-2015 08:48 PM

hey Gr8rcher

hows the bike run now ever since the valves were adjusted and the new carb?

Gr8rcher 01-31-2015 09:41 PM

Couldn't be happier

Weldangrind 02-01-2015 12:32 PM

Awesome! I'm glad that worked out for you. You'll now have the ability to change jets if you make changes to the intake and exhaust.

culcune 02-01-2015 05:38 PM

Nydirtbike 02-02-2015 05:29 PM
