Awesome! It's a good idea to coat the stud with a little anti-seize before screwing it into the head, which will make it easier to remove next time. Also, I use two nuts per stud, because it allows you to jam them together. I haven't lost any that have been double-nutted.

Vise-Grips are one of the tools where the cheap knock-offs are not nearly as good as the real thing. I have MANY cheap Chinese tools but my Vise-Grips are the real thing. :wink:

If all else fails it is a case of centre punch it and drill it out - then retap the hole - tricky because of getting the right alignment...:?

Glad to see you got it out, I had the same thing happen on mine. I tryed to vise grips and only managed to chew it off little by little. I ended up finding a nut that would slide over it and welded it on. Added a little heat to the head and wrenched it out :)
