Does the large sprocket on the axle have provisions for it to slide on the axle. Maybe you can move it to help align the motor.
It does but only half an inch
Most centrifugal clutches can be mounted either way; you can have the sprocket facing out or in.
This clutch doesnt havw that option its just put on and screw in
What I mean is that your clutch can be mounted onto the shaft either way. Right now, you have the clutch sprocket facing out; remove the clutch and flip it around, and the sprocket will be facing in. Does that help you?
I cant do that the bore is only 1" from one side and i cant flip it to face the opposite direction
if you could flip it around, would that help you?

i cant flip the clutch it wont fit on the shaft |
I understand. What I'm asking is, if you could flip it around, would that solve your problem?
Flip the clutch or the big sproket?
The whole device. When a centrifugal clutch is mounted on a minibike, it is common to install it so the sprocket is facing the engine, and Comet makes one that will install either way.
There's a pic on this minibike forum that shows what I mean. It is using a jackshaft, but ignore that part. Notice how the clutch is installed so the sprocket is facing the engine: http://www.oldminibikes.com/forum/ge...lutch-tav.html |
I knew what you meant this clutch is the cheap comet clutch it has like a cap so it wont slide on the shaft or if i try i cant put the cluth so that the sprocket faces in
Right, but you could buy a clutch that can be installed either way. Before buying one, see if that would solve your problem.
Ohh. well there expensive the 1" bore, but ill keep that in mind if this one messes up
I changed the big sproket more to the left but it still needs a steel plate
