What made me think the Hunter was just a smaller version of the Scram was the fact it has the same style Skid plate. |

Totally different bikes. The Scram is a Himalayan based bike, with more off-road type of suspension, geometry and travel, with the same engine. The Hunter is a street bike and was never designed for off road. There's guys on the RE forum who have done the scrambler conversion to their Hunters and they are very cool, but so far, still lacking off the pavement.

The bike comes with a GPS Tripper, stock. To me, it was a worthless gauge since I know where I'm going. It was nothing more than yet another "wrong clock".
One of the members on the RE forum is making tachs for various models that don't have them and i raised my hand to help out. Got the wiring straightened out and tach mounted. WAY more useful than that tripper. Here's a before and after. |
