I went from there. What took Purchasing a week to do with no luck, took me an hour an hour to fix. Purchasing was calling the wrong number. I googled AT&Ts CS for Business and called that number. Except for the time I spent on hold, it was pretty easy.

But.....but.....but.... What about next week's episode? You can't be problem solving like that in one hour, we need Drama! We need Intrigue! We need Uncertainty!

Rodney, the next to useless PM with the nice hair and shiny shoes is gone. It seems that Jean-Luc's replacement from Europe saw what the Service staff saw AND saw that we weren't bitching to bitch. The difference was that he started to act on it. Rodney with the nice hair and shiny shoes read the writing on the wall and bolted.

It seems like there is more house cleaning coming up with this guy. He wants to fire the entire engineering, QC, and Purchasing staffs for incompetence. Whether he can make it happen remains to be seen. On the other hand, there are rumblings from France about why Rodney with the nice hair and shiny shoes was not removed sooner. Methinks the line of BS that Al has been feeding them has finally been uncovered.

In next weeks episode ,Cheesy returns to work and our story time continues .

I came back after a while (around when NVDA Split and AI hasn't over the Airwaves), and I read this.
I was convinced this forum has morphed into a futuristic hangout place where the admins are all "AI"s and Bots or we have Jarvis and Ulton (Iron Man fame) et. al running the place :D. THen I checked out some other posts and I could breathe easy that the shenanigans and the prankserts are still around.... :D

Not much happening that I am aware of cuz I can't get out to have breakfast with Harold and Jason. But I did get a call from Harold yesterday. He asked how I was doing and how soon I'd be walking again. He asked how Mrs.C was doing. Then he got quiet, so I knew this wasn't just a social call.

I wanted to say that if he'd actually been the Technical Support Manager instead of trying to be our top salesman, he'd know this. The only reason I know this is because I've had to troubleshoot and repair this stuff.:D

I got a call from the new Accounts Payable lady yesterday. She started a few weeks ago. Seems pleasant and has some functioning brain cells, so she probably won't stick around. She said that they sent me my final reimbursement check for my cell phone in January and that I hadn't cashed it yet. I said don't recall getting it but with Mrs.C's cancer surgery happening that month, I may have missed it. Said I'd look. I didn't find it and called her back. She said she'd cancel the check and issue a new one.

She called back later in the day to tell me that she found the missing check in a pile of papers the previous AP had stuffed in a desk drawer. JHC.

I for one have been enjoying watching the Retiree Cheesey Stupidee Adventuree tales. Zero chances of me riding my happy ass to Florida, by I love seeing you not work and instead do all the dumb things. Good on ya.
