Post Motorcycle Movie Recommendations Here!
I suggest this thread to post motorcycle related movies, shows, YouTube channels, or "shows." It can be one organized place to recommend, discuss, and learn what's out there for us to engage in.
The "Long Way" Series was discussed on another thread, and I've enjoyed watching it several times. As the original poster on this thread, I recommend "Cycles South" a totally freaky hippie movie from the late 60's from some real adventure riders. |

A couple of British programs done by Henry Cole I enjoy.
"World's Greatest Motorcycle Rides" - A little like the Long way series but done on a tighter budget. "Shed And Buried" - 2 blokes go to another blokes shed, take a look around at there junk collection, buy something for a few quid, fix it up a bit then try and flog it for a few quid more. Sometimes a motorcycle sometimes a lawn mower, that sort of thing. Quite entertaining in a low key way. Available on travel channel in the uk or just google World's Greatest Motorcycle Rides youtube Shed And Buried youtube :) |

Not a motorcycle movie but a great motorcycle scene that always amazes. Terminator II Judgement Day. Amazing how the stunt rider handles that big Harley in the motorcycle and semi truck chase sequence. I would love to even have a 1/4 of the skill those stunts took. Even just riding up and down on and off the curbs. I would lay it down for sure. I honestly don't even know how they did/do it.

"Faster" and "Fastest." Among the best documentaries made about sports period. The sport happens to be MotoGP in the age of Rossi.
Still looking for a chance to see "Hitting the Apex." |
All great suggestions.
To which I add one of my favorite movies. Harley Davidson And The Marlboro Man. Caution: One of the worst movies made. Finished off Don Johnson's carreer and nearly drove Micky Rourke to suicide. Seriously. For some reason though, I love the flick. AT THE VERY LEAST watch the opening sequence. You'll love it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vswGgt7NgQc |
Rats, the link was in Spanish. No worries skip to 1 minute mark and trust me.

I watched the CT90 Adventures based on a recommendation here, and that guy is NUTS. For anyone who wants a few laughs, the guys YouTube channel is worth a few minutes. I even watched the one with Hitler (asshole) in it, and while I, and my ancestors are not fans by any means, it was really pretty funny, as it is a GS bashing video.
His girlfriend also had a TAT thread on ADVRider that is fantastic http://advrider.com/index.php?thread...-c90s.1085263/ That guy has some amazing trailside fabrication/maintenance skills. |
ok, was expecting it to be the first...

Been trying to find a great video (or group of videos) I watched a while back with 2 guys, a gal, and 2 KLR 650s traveling across South America... they get stopped/stranded a few times at boarder crossings and have to 'get home' by combining their wits, 2 KLR 650s and an old Boat they found (with no motor/owner)... they make it past a good ways but last video I seen they posted ended with them saying "Will we ever make it back home"?
That's about all I can remember... it's a funny/great watch and if anyone finds the videos can you please post them up for me... I have been looking but can't seem to find them anywhere (I thought I had them bookmarked... but I don't >:() |
MotoSyberia - It is a great adventure store of 3 guys going across Asia. It's funny too.

Motoventuring is a great one, two girls take a year to ride from Alaska to South America on two DRZ 400's they break down alot and repair on the road or wherever. 86 episodes so far.
Caution some episodes contain nudity watch at your own risk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VV9CvtDf-mo |
I'm with Doc. The movie kinda sucked but the intro to Harley Davidson and Marlboro Man could be one of the best intros of all time. The rattly air cleaner when he first fires it up beings back some warm fuzzies.

Not really a 'movie' but a crazy tall 'Canadian Vlogger' I watch, 6Foot4Honda, put up a great video about a month back... if only I could do this to everyone I see littering >:(

I watched this one weekend when it was pouring buckets and couldn't ride. Great movie they just desided one day to quit their jobs and take a 12,000 mile trip 1400 mi of it on the TAT (Trans-America Trail) on a Tiger 800XC and a CBR600RR with no support vehicle.

There is a whole big World waiting for me to explore and I was stuck inside; watching it go by.” Age: 27 Height: 5’2” Weight: 110 lbs Years Riding: 14 years dirt, 4 years street Hometown: “I’m a wanderer; looking for the place that feels like Home.” Motorcycle” 2009 Honda CBR600RR Amanda began riding at the age of 14. Amanda in her petite size and stature was and is always determined to prove her ability to her male counterparts. “Just because I’m small; people underestimate me. It makes me all that more determined to show them I can ride.” Zach Settewongse “People always seemed shocked that I’m going to drop everything and hit the road for several months. I’ve just arrived at a point in my life where I’m tired of saying “One day I’m going to do it”. I woke up and said to myself “Today is the day”. You never know how long your time here will be. This is just one in many adventures I have on my bucket list. I plan to live like every day is my last and not waste a moment.
