Does anyone know the difference in the two bikes besides price? http://www.peacesports.com/newsite/p.../bs250gy-18b/#

LOL the best thing about that bike photo is the car tire fence! I love it.

NM RETIRED GUY 09-06-2016 07:19 PM

A local dealer in my area has the "shark" on display on the floor. Somebody mentioned that the "brozz" was quite tall. I'm 5'10" and i was able to flat foot it easily. It looked nice but he wanted $2500 for it which is too much for me.

Gotcha. Peace is out of stock on the shark anyways, I asked. Have you bought a bike yet retired guy? I know me and you both been looking hard.

$100

The gauge is slightly different between the two. I believe the Brozz has a fuel level gauge and the Shark does not, but that is based on the photos on the Peace website.

Jass Motorsports (aka Kandi USA--the go kart people) are the most recent distributors for both bikes. My friend's distributorship distributes Kandi carts, and is supposed to get a price for me for both (my friend is also a licensed retailer). Also, my friend's company is located in City of Industry, California, where Jass/Kandi is located, so if anyone needs parts, he is able to get them (no matter where you buy a Shark or Brozz).

Sorry to hijack (but I did have an answer to the original question), but this bike reminds me of the Mustang replica that CSC used to be known for. The original Mustang from the 60's was a mini motorcycle, and CSC had a 150cc version and a 229cc version; both with vertical engines.

Can he get me a price on the Brozz shipped to GA? Also it will be shipped to where I work and we have a lift to take it off the truck.

culcune 09-07-2016 09:46 AM

I will ask him--what is your zip code?

I am really liking the color combo on the Shark bikes! I am impartial to orange bikes, but the green/white combo is drawing me in...

I'm a cheap ass and they charge $280 to deliver. That red Brozz tho. Im gonna wait and see how the dude from upstate New York on here likes his.

Merlin 09-11-2016 12:53 PM

The Brozz looks like the perfect CB to me. Depending on how easy it is to get to the Valves.

I couldn't imagine it is 'bad' in any way. The only 2 downsides I see that might prevent others from the bike are the 19"/17" wheels, and the drum brakes. To me, the wheel sizing is a neutral issue (I am sure the more common 21"/18" combo makes it somewhat easier to find tires, but I am sure 19" front and 16" tires can be found), and the drum brakes, while a 'step backwards' is a plus in my opinion. All my Chinabikes' rear disc brakes have had issues (I have had 3 enduros now).

So, I don't believe we will hear anything negative from SANY, other than most any issues found with Chinabikes in general (little things that snap and break).

A few months ago, member 'Evelyn' successfully rode her Storm from Utah to Brooklyn, New York with nary an issue (she bought it assembled, but did do a couple mechanical things with it before her ride thanks to helpful Bashan members here on Chinariders). Other than that, the Israeli tourist made it with no major issues from what I remember. She even bungie corded bags to the bike, rather than finding some aftermarket panniers.

Again, I doubt there will be major issues with SANY's Brozz.

Well said.

I also think about the gallon gas can carriers on the rear foot pegs on the eve bike.

I wonder if the $1500 Brozz from peace is actually the older version without inverted forks like in the pictures or they'd ship the newer version? I'd call and ask but I'm sure they don't have a clue or would just tell you what you want to hear.

Peace was the distributor a couple years ago. On mychinamoto, the Bashan rep chimed in to a Bashan related thread (I believe we were discussing the new for the time Storm, Will, Blaze, etc). He showed off the Brozz. I PM'd him back and forth, and he told me he was going to meet with a few distributors, including Peace.

I believe Peace was trying to MSRP their bikes for the $2200 range via dealers, and none showed up on mail-order sites, so I bet they are sitting a several bikes that never sold due to the rest of the Bashan lineup underselling them via discount online dealers.

That is why I guessed they are selling older units that they are sitting on, rather than getting new ones from Jass Motorsports. You will probably not get a clear answer, however...

Yeah, I would just have to gamble and take the risk if I buy it from them. For $1500 its hard to imagine its the newer version.

Is it me or does the green bike shown above look like a Storm with a Hawk/TT250 headlight and regular forks?
If this was mentioned earlier, my apologies.

2LZ 09-12-2016 05:56 PM

On a side note, it looks like the illusive "Storm" is available again.

I'm not seeing a ton of difference between the Shark and Brozz, myself.

Where is the Storm available, out of curiosity? I, personally, am leaning towards the Brozz because I like the name :) , but I like the color scheme on the Shark.

I am happy to see both as coming with rear racks.

culcune 09-12-2016 07:59 PM

I copied and pasted this video from member 'SANY's' introduction thread per suggestion by member 'motorcyclelove' since this thread is probably more appropriate.

Supposedly the super scooter store will have the storm in a couple weeks but they have been saying that for months...

I'd call and make sure they actually have them in stock. Seems everyone is out of Storms. Its a shame Super Scooter doesn't have them their price is $1400 delivered.

culcune 09-13-2016 07:29 PM

If you look at the fine print on Superiorpowersports they mention:

"Availability: In stock soon. Order now to get in line. First come first served."

So they don't have them, either.

That's what I figured. If nobody has them by mid October I'm going with a hawk. I'm a divorced dad with two kids, my budget is tight and I shouldn't even be spending $1400. I'm trying to justify it to myself with gas savings since I commute 44 miles round trip everyday.

Dude, you need to bite the bullet and go a head and get the rx3 if you are truly going for the commute thing. It will be far more comfortable. Your experience with the rx3 will encourage to stay with the m.c. commute. Sell some stuff, save , throw some boxes at ups in the mornings and you will have the cash in no time. What does it take, like $4200 out the door, right?:hehe:

culcune 09-13-2016 11:24 PM

I commuted 33 miles a day on my TMEC 200--year round. I commute on my 150cc TGB scooter today, but have been thinking of getting a Hawk or Magician, or the Brozz for commuting duties. Or to cross off my bucket list riding from Yuma to Cabo San Lucas on a cheap Chinese motorcycle :)

I guess my thinking is that if I had a rx3 just sitting there, I would be more inclined to commute with it versus just a Cheapo dirt bike.

Please, no double barrel response:hehe:

Been there. If you don't do it for yourself, no one else will....and in my case, if the X finds out you have extra, she'll take it anyway. Just make sure in advance you can register the Hawk where you live. Be nothing worse than spending the money that you scrape together just to have it sit.

Most generic Hondoid parts (brakes, cables, throttles, carbs, etc...) can be purchased online from places like Amazon or EBay.
