Trailtech Vapor knockoff.
I ran across the link to this item in another thread and thought for less than fifteen bucks, how could I lose? I have been wanting to purchase a Trailtech Vapor for some time but can't justify the outrageous price of one. Should have it in a few days and will keep you guys posted.

Someone else bought one but has not posted any feedback on it. Cant wait to hear a review myself.

X2. Looking forward to your thoughts on it.

Finally came in the mail. Have not had a chance to hook it up yet, but will be doing so soon.
The fit and finish of the unit seems pretty decent. I was afraid it was going to weigh .003 ounces and have the buttons falling off directly out of the package. So far so good. Will update as soon as possible. |
Yeah that was me - I bought this got had it - but not a chance to play with it. Maybe someone else has more time. I was dissapointed on how cheaply made it is, but for 15 bucks if it serves any purpose then maybe well spent. Digital Display is difficult to see in my opinion, Don't think it does MPH at all. May serve as a good fluid change reminder. I'll post more of my 2 cents when I get a chance to play.

Hey it's time for an update! How's the unit working for you?

Sorry about the hold up. I completely forgot about the thing. As soon as I tried installing it, I gave up. The instructions are worthless. I prefer even Chinglish over Chinese.

Good to know. At least it was an inexpensive lesson.

That's unfortunate, but you often get what you pay for. YOu may feel that the Vapor is outrageously priced, but mine has 15,000 miles of all weather riding on it. It was outside all winter (3 times now) without issue. It has been submerged, as well as frequent rain and hail riding. It handles our 110*f days all summer. It did cost $110, but I've gotten every penny out of it...and I extracted those pennies painfully.

Also, when you post a link, it would be considerate if you would post it like so
Text describing your link. It will shorten it to a sensible length so that those of us not surfing the forum on our 64" wide screen televisions set at 52855 x 19488 resolution can see the forum without having to scroll to read simple sentences like you're having to do with this one. |

X2. Never considered the impact of how a link is presented.

Thanks for the update, Brian. :)
