V raptor tyres

Hello.

I have been wanting to change the tyres on my v raptor for some time as the current ones are dangerous in the wet.
I have seen some pictures of them where road tyres have been fitted . Only ones I can find are the Dunlop's they come with or the tw204s.

Do I need to change my wheels or can different size tyres be fitted to the current wheels ?. Alternatively are the tw204s OK for the road?

Any suggestions much appreciated

go for TW 203 and 204 from Bridgestone............less vibrations and more confidence on wet roads....................someone made me notice the load index on these tires is not EXACTLY the same of OE ones and here in Italy this can cause problems with police and insurance company but, hey, who the heck cares ?
Don't think anybody will EVER need to or take time to check my bike's tire load values............
only other option you have in those odd tire measures are VEE RUBBER from Thailand and they look even more off-road oriented than Dunlops

That looks really good, Capistro. Welcome aboard!

do those scooter tires fit the original rims ?
cause 180/80-14 sounds pretty different from 160/60-14.............your suggested front measures sound more similar instead
any problems about touching the swingarm or the chain with those rear tires ?

don't get me wrong, I like a lot capistro's bike in the pic
it seems to me though that he adopted the same rim diameter on front and back (a 14" insted of the original 18")
is that right ?
