That was probably off his first bike! I'm teasing ofcourse, we all know his was steam powered.. :hehe:

I truly enjoy ARH's posts :tup: He is the Hickok45 of motorcycles.

I definitely appreciate his wealth of knowledge, and old school ways are often the best. My grandfather was a dairy farmer and showed me how to do a front end alignment with a broom handle. I learned the proper way to do it at Hocking Tech when I was getting my ASE certification, but to this day I use his method most of the time with a tape measure.

H-m-m-m, that engine looks familiar, except, of course for the garish paint job on the magneto chain cover. I think it originated in the Selly Oak neighborhood of Birmingham, England...ARH

ARH wants to thank all ya'all for your nice thoughts for ye olde codger, who, as someone has pointed out, started his 2 wheeler days with a steam powered 2 wheeler named Anthracite Annie. Yes, Jerry and I were discussing this just the other day. I hope he's alright.

I have been worried about ARH for awhile too. I read most of his posts when I was lurking for more than a year or so.

I really hope he's ok.
