Hello,

I am Alun from Bilsthorpe, near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

I am an owner of a Bashan Vixen VX250,I had the bike for two weeks now.

Problem; my bike cuts out when warm, when at a standstill at junction/lights etc. Guess it's tick-over or mixture, like any tips to tune the carb please :-)

PS - Being my first chinese bike, is it base on a Japanese bike, if so which one?

Does it overly smoke at all? Any idea what the jetting is set at?

Welcome! Glad you found us. Please show us a pic of your machine, and we can start there. Once we identify your engine, it would be great if you could start a new thread in the relevant section; we can then begin troubleshooting.

these guys are great and will definitely get any issues you may encounter sorted out quickly.
