Valve clearances
Looking to adjust the valve's on our 3 CB's. We have a 125cc, 150cc and 200cc ATV's. The two smaller units are Coolster and then the Tao Tao Rhino.
Thanks fella's! |
125's bore & stroke is similar to ANF125 (Innova/Wave...) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Wave_series | Honda https://www.scribd.com/doc/98307128/...a-X-125-PGM-FI said .002" ±.001"
The 150 is a GY6 clone. In good old Kymco GY6D shop manual .12mm (something btw .004" & .005" ) RHINO = powered by CG family (push rod machine) Honda spec is ~ .003"±.001" | Chinese maker said ~ .002" |From experience in here: IN .002" / EX .003" |

Wow, thanks! Them are some paper thin strips of metal. Borrow some from a guy that works in our truck shop but smallest he has is .004mm dang:doh: |
The 32 pcs set like this https://amzn.com/B00PTZFHF4 can get the job done...

Anybody have a good tutorial video or website on how to adjust the valve clearance on my Rhino"s engine?
I'm looking for something as close to that engine as possible... torque settings and the like. Never done it before. |

Sorry human being, I was thinking in metric and not SAE:hehe: didn't realize you posted in thousandths of inch lol. |
Well so far 125cc intake was fine but exhaust was tight, couldn't fit a .002" in there so adjusted exhaust. On my rhino I can slide a .004" in the intake but can't even fit a .002" in the exhaust. So will be adjusting both valves on Rhino.
But it supper time😀 |
