Bashan Remote Start/Alarm Removal?
1 Attachment(s)
Has anyone documented or know the process of removing the remote starter alarm unit that most Bashan bikes are supplied with? It just seems to be a safety hazzard and something that'll end up running my battery down.
I read that you have to do some other wiring to make it happy with the unit gone, but I couldn't find out what those other steps are. |
Don't know what's in there but these thingy traditionally cut b&w (ign "off" line) + [control unit] 1 in / 1 out + remaining of that b&w | jams to Y/R ( solenoid relay's +) | other wires isn't that important (4-corner lights ...) ie. often jams to original wiring ONLY. Un-connect these is back to OK state...

I will go grab a pic off our Bashan...
But I removed that stuff a long time ago :) ... basically did what 'jeffrey' said... unplug everything and remove alarm/remote start boxes... then there will be 2 single wire bullet connectors left (one male, one female)... just put those 2 together and you are done |

You can see me holding what you are left with on the bike... just put the bullet connectors together and the jobs done

Thanks for the help!
