Apollo 250 Deluxe and Insurance. What is the listed "make" of Apollo?

I am deciding between the Apollo deluxe picture below and the Hawk. As I am getting closer to pulling the trigger, I started looking into insurance. I checked out Geico and Progressive. Progressive doesn't really know what to make of these bikes. Geico has both Hawk and the Bashan listed. However, Apollo is not listed.

I don't want to buy a bike and then not be able to insure it and then register it.

Does anyone know what is listed as the manufacturer of the Apollo?

Also, I'm in NE. Anyone have hassle registering the Hawk in NE? Does the MCO say "off road use"?

I live in Omaha. When I requested my MCO I instructed them that the MCO needs to state the vehicle type as Motorcycle. With that in hand and my proof of insurance and sales form I registered my Hawks without issue.

As far as the Apollo. AFAIK, Apollo is the make, and then the chassis designation is the model. Aka Apollo AGB-36/DB-36, which are known as RX250's elsewhere in the world. The Street legal Motard version with the 17" wheels is known as the RX250 Xtreme, or DB-36 Deluxe here.

You may check to see if they are listed under Orion, which is the other brand name of the bikes in question.

The Apollo 250 Deluxe is fairly new to the street legal bikes so may not be in any of the insurance systems. You will probably have to go to the insurance company in person with the MCO and have them enter it in manually. IMO the Apollo 250 Deluxe will be the better of the two bike for street use.

The Apollo deluxe would be a good call and I'm probably more interested in that. The thing that's stopping me is the $300 price bump. At $1395 the Hawk seems like a great deal and pretty inexpensive. For me, $1699 for the Apollo deluxe is not in the $2000 ballpark and then it doesn't seem like a good deal.

Oh...dilemmas...

Ahy, ski rush!. the apollo is still a deal at 1699.99. Go with apollo db 36 deluxe. I got progressive. They're aware of these bikes...
