What are your thoughts or experience with these tires?
|
I wouldn't use them .. but I just do not like
inline nob patten.. staggered side nobs.. but they are probably quite a good prise so if you like them use them.. .. |
Pete, I looked at many tires and didn't catch the pattern. I definitely want staggered. Guess I'll keep looking a bit more.
|
not sure of your budget.. or use..
Golden tyre front... GT316 rear... GT230 .. |
Thanks for info Pete. I will take a look at them.
|
IRC is actually an OE level manufacturer. The CRF250L came with IRC tires from Honda. Price wise the are middle of the pack. They aren't Shinko and Kenda cheap, but somewhat budget friendly compared to some other big names out there.
|
Wonder how many miles would they last if used 50/50 on a TT250. Shame they are not staggered pattern as Pete pointed out.
|
IRC is a good brand.
Their M5B is one of the best for getting up steep slippery hills. (I'd only run it on a high powered bike, because it's a heavy tire.) I like to run the lightest tires I can find on 250 4T's I think the IRC V35 or 37 was the lightest knobby I could find. Dennis Kirk has the weights listed for all the sizes for each brand. |
Thanks Glenn. Never considered the weight .
