walmart seat mod
 

I found the recommended "wal-mart seat modification" today at the local wally world. I gotta admit, it is definitely an improvement. They also had gas tank bag that fits good if ya need to carry stuff. also keeps the wind off the legs.

I tried the gas tank bag, but returned it because I thought it got too close to the exhaust. I don't have the tank plastic on my bike anymore so nothing to keep the bag away.

Would have been nice to put items in.

if you attach the tie downs to the fake radiator thing, you can keep the bag away from exhaust. i wonder if the same pack could be mounted differently behind the driver.

gonna tighten my chain today. its 63 and me and my oldest are going grocery shopping. before that I bungee cord a crate to the back. :)

I removed all the plastic pieces from the tank area since they squeeked horribly. I just have the metal tank left. I am still working on a larger fuel tank to increase my range.

I gotta tank bag off E-bay for like $10 bucks, best investment I think i've made for this bike (pics in my gallery) it holds ALOT of stuff... It sits right above my exhaust but I still have that goofy liver shaped guard on (til I find something better) and haven't had a problem with it melting...
Seen the seat cover at Wally world but my seat is getting more comfy the more I ride so I don't see the point (Zap, you just need to ride more)...

hey ambassador that is exactly the tank bag I got at wal-mart. It does hold a lot of stuff! Mine even has a drink holder on the left side which i've found occasion to use.

i rode about 70 miles today but my engine is making such a racket I came home. the valves sound like they are going to launch through the top of the motor at me.

It is an ATV seat pad made by Stearns and sold at walmart. Look my gallery on page 8.

They cost about $15.

Actually it is in the Automotive area where they have the ATV gear and motorcycle oils.

Not all walmarts have them so you may need to go to a more "country" location.

yeah i tried the wal mart at the ohio valley mall and it had nothing for atv's. so i went to moundsville west virginia (where there be rednecks) and picked one up.

oh so there is not a misunderstanding...i drink pabst blue ribbon and was born in Wv..so technically I am a hill william as well.

nope. they did not really have a section for atv stuff.
