New rider saying hi.
 

I'm new to riding motorcycles and decided to start with a Lifan X-pect, it's been great so far after 450 miles on it now. Just did it's first break-in oil change, valve adjustment and spark plug gap. Previously put a 17 tooth front sprocket on, and a Niche brand x-ring chain.

Loving it so far though my short inseam of 27-ish inches puts me on the ball of one foot only which when I make noob rider mistakes like stall from a start into a turn get's sketchy, (haven't dropped it from doing that though.)

Welcome aboard! :hi: I think you made a wise choice on the Xpect. Lifan has to be one of the best of the china bikes. Don't worry about the noobie stuff. You will only get better at it as you ride and learn. BTW Where did you buy from?

Welcome and don't feel alone on the being short in the legs dept. Methinks that is a big reason for the cruiser popularity. I was torn between the Magician and a Vader.. I chose the Vader and don't thing the smaller wheels will be too much an issue.:)

I ordered mine from txpowersports. And the first MCO they sent me was off a number on the VIN so they had to send me the right one after.

Had no problems registering it in Oklahoma once I had the right papers.

Welcome, Josh! Do you plan to lower the bike?

I'm not planning to lower it any, seems doable enough as it is. Though if or when I decide to eventually get a second bike of some sort I'll probably want something a little bit lower.

Welcome aboard. Don't worry the noob feel wears off in the first few months. Also, I've dropped my bike so many times I decided keep backup mirrors in the garage now lolol..

Decided to take a picture of the efi computer in case someone wanted to see the markings on it. Had to flip the picture because the way it's mounted the writing is upside down.
