Bashan Brozz 250
 

Hi Guys, I am so confused. I just saw a couple of videos on YouTube that were published in 2017 from 2 different youtubers that showed a 2016 or 2017 Bashan brozz 250 with a rear rack, inverted forks, remote start and alarm and a digital display. Then I go to websites that sell the 2018 bashan brozz and they don't have the digital display in the pictures and they don't have the inverted front forks? I didn't think the Brozz had those updated features untill 2019? Anyhow, I'm ready to buy and I was convinced that the brozz was the one that I wanted and needed for the following reasons:
1) Quiet
2) needs no modifications
3) comfortable seat
4) good power and suspension.
5) digital dash.
6) remote start and alarm.
7) inverted forks
8) rear rack.

As you know many of these Chinese bikes are the same bikes with a different name and sometimes for a different price on different websites. Can anyone tell me the year and model of any on off-road motorcycle that has the above features for the best price? I think peace powersports is too expensive, if I can get the same Bashan brozz with a different name on it for a lesser price, I will go for it. Thank you very much for your assistance. Brozz250.com has the 2018 and the 2020 Brozz 250s for sale. I believe they are the USA distributors. You could contact them and ask.

The Brozz 250 was available in 2 versions,...the base model that you refer to seeing on the website, and the upgraded, Blue Eagle Brozz (which has the inverted forks, luggage rack, digital dash...etc.). I'm not sure, but I think the Blue Eagle has been available since 2015 or 16? Anyway,...if you go to Peace Sports website (they are the only USA importer of the Brozz), you will see "retail" prices. If you go to the website Brozz250.com (which they also own), you will see their direct to the customer pricing, where they ship to you, and you do the assembly.
Going to Brozz250.com right now,..you will find the leftover 2018 standard model at a great buy (contact them for pricing), and the new 2020 Recon, based more off the upgraded Blue Eagle, with additional extras.
The reason you can't find the upgraded 2018 or 2019 Blue Eagle model,..is they are simply sold out.
They advertise that new 2020 Brozz 250's will be in soon.

So can you find similar Bashan 250 models elsewhere? maybe. But not from a dealer that has the great reputation that Peace Sports has. and that is worth something to most buyers....

......from my own point of view/recommendation, yes, the Brozz 250 will get you the 8 things you mention for sure,..plus has a very smooth, counterbalanced engine. That being said, the Recon does fill the bill, with the only difference being the tires (knobbies vs street/scrambler treads)..and at $1950, its a pretty good buy.

I purchased a Brozz in 2017 it is a 2016 model it has the inverted forks the rack and the digital spedo and the remote start with rear drum.

Peace came out with a Brozz without the inverted forks etc.
It then came out with the second version that is just like mine but has a rear disc.

I live about 30-40 minutes from Peace Industries so I decided to go there and buy one in person, they only have 2018s left and not the upgraded ones. I'm ok with that though as I'm new again to riding so I bought a green standard brozz 250 and requested the rack. 40 bucks for the rack and 1500 for the fully assembled bike before tax, tag, and title, 1721 and some change after. I showed up about noon made my request, they said ok. I left and did some shopping and went back at 530 and they had my bike all ready for me. They have one green and two red 2018s left at a great deal. He said the 2020s will be in sometime this upcoming week. Only 30 though and half are already sold. They will be more expensive than what I paid obviously. On a side note: even though my bike didn't come with inverted forks or a rear disk it did come with a genuine Japanese Kei Hin carb. That's a plus. I put 35 miles on my bike yesterday and I love it. I will be upgrading the forks and rear brakes as my comfort and skill increases. If you want the 2020 you better jump on it. Check with them Wednesday and order it as soon as they come because I have a feeling that first batch is going to go quickly. Hope this helped. Cheers. ��

As I know (Jeff from Peace may authenticate this advice),...and we are taliking the '18 Brozz with inverted forks/rear disc,...the differences are: the knobby tires,...different turn signals,...redesigned gas cap,...exhaust tip is angled down away from signal light,....addition of skid plate standard.
that's all I know,...might be more?

Bashan brozz versus Bashan storm
 

Good information, I appreciate it, how do you feel the 2019 Bashan storm stands up to the 2020 Bashan brozz? Does the storm have the same quiet muffler that motocheez talked about in his video? How about the same comfortable seat? I know the storm still has the counterbalanced engine, it has the remote start and alarm, and it has the inverted forks and rear rack. Anything I'm missing? Thank you very much. Just want to make sure I'm making the right decision for the price.

I have no personal experience with the Storm, but from several happy members over the years, they seem to do the trick. I do have a feeling they do NOT come with the digital gauge, however.

If you want to add to the choices/confusion, BMS decided to have their own dual-sport, and guess who ALSO makes it? Yep, Bashan! Theirs is called the CRP 250. Only theirs uses 21/18" wheels vs. the 19/17 setup found on the other Bashans. The price range seems to be in the same ballpark as the Storm; here is one example:

Great bike the CRP 250. No counterbalanced engine though.

I have owned a Bashan storm 250 and I can say great things about it. Very quiet engine as well if you're into that. Have me no problems at all just regular stuff. Great from on and off road it was fine too but my bike came with 50/50 tires. Bad thing is no digital cluster!

I've got a 2019 Brozz, I was pretty happy with how it ran out the box. Still I've done/plan to do a lot to it mostly because I use it primarily for dual sport. Great little bike.

Storm is very quiet but is missing a digital dash. I added one to mine for around $50. The brozz blue eagle wheel speed sensor fits directly so it was an easy swap.

I have a brozz 250 recently the frame was slightly bent after another bike hit me.... I dont need to fo it bc its not that bad but if i get a new frame im thinking about gettimg the motomax frame and putting everything off the brozz onto it.... But i was told that the front end wont work. Can soneone confirm this and explain why so i can look into somethimg that will make it fit before i go buying anything. Thank uou

you would have to find the dimensions of the neck, bearings, and the overall length of the forks and see if they would work. Not sure it would be worth it or if its much of an upgrade though unless you have that frame already on hand.
