My latest issue - Apollo db 36

It appears I got the lemon of this particular litter. Occasionally when I go to shift from first to second, I think that's the only time it does it maybe 2nd to 3rd also, the damn thing will not upshift unless I pull in the clutch, slow down, downshift then continue to upshift. It doesn't do it every time in fact sometimes I can ride around the neighborhood for 15 minutes and it wont do it at all. Orion powersports suggest I might need to adjust the clutch but I'm sceptical and think it's something internal.
Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks, Dean.

Adjust the clutch with minimal play in the cable. Sounds like you have too much play and the clutch is dragging. Follow these instructions on how to adjust. https://www.cscmotorcycles.com/check...and-adjustment

Thanks I'll give that a shot.

These cheap clone motors have cheap clone clutches that suffer from quite a bit of clutch fade as the oil and clutches get hot. I often had to adjust my clutch at the lever after riding for a bit so that it would fully release. When it cooled off again it was almost too tight. Eventually I found a middle ground that worked well.

Not just you dean ! My bike is not smooth sailing yet either I'm still working out some kinks. Today on my ride after rejetting while riding my bike lost power sputter then shut off. I was on the side of the road stranded. Everything was good as far as I could tell. I just messed with the ignition coil and hit it a couple times and it ran okay enough for me to get back home then I parked it. Gotta find out what the issue is. The ignition coil is tight now so idk how that may still be an issue, I'm getting quite confused! Just keep working at it dean and the bike will be fine!
