2021 Taotao TBR7 Carb replacement
My 2021 TBR7 has a choke cable from the left handlebar to the carb - it allows for continuously variable choke adjustment. I would like to swap the factory (tamper proof) carb for one with conventional bowl screws.
I purchased a "cable choke" from amazon, but it does not have any provision for choke cable control (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073SVJF2Q...roduct_details). Can anyone suggest an alternative carb that has provisions for a cable choke to be used? The carb I purchased is described as a PZ30... Thanks, . |
Those so called tamperproof screws can be removed. Just slot the screws with a hack saw or Dremel then replace the screws with new ones.

For the choke cable I found you have to transfer the old mount from the stock carb onto the new mount, or live without it.
