How long have I been riding around like this???

I’m a 2 finger front brake kind of guy. So I never even noticed this!!

I was at a gas station 2 days ago and saw it.

Kind of fancy looking, actually. Ha ha ha

Looks strange to me... uh, what? Lol

I ride with two finger on the front brake and clutch all the time when riding around town. Too many idiots playing with there phone pulling out in front of me.

If you look closely, You can see the front brake lever is bent around in a C shape.

Because I ride with two fingers for the front brake, I never noticed it was bent. Lol

Doesn’t feel any different when you are riding.

I think it might’ve happened during some of my deep sand practice a couple weeks ago. I went down a bunch of times.

Oh, got it. I thought he forgot to upload a picture. I'm a too-finger guy two.

Amateur 12-22-2021 09:51 AM

There's no picture to see.

I brake with my pinky and ring finger.

TxTaoRider 12-22-2021 10:22 AM

I have short levers on my tbr7 and use 2 fingers on clutch and brake. On my old gs1100e I use 2 fingers on the brake (I've got big ebc front discs and HH pads and they are touchy) but the old clutch on it usually requires 3 or more fingers.

Oh wow. I’m sorry. I did a picture link to the ADV forum which I’m logged into so I can see it. I guess you guys can’t. Interesting. I’ll do a different pic upload.

Edit: pic uploaded a different way

Kind of surprised the adv forum serves images based on a cookie status.

Anyway, now my first post should make some sense.

That is fancy. lol You had no choice but to use two fingers.

I just can’t believe I didn’t notice it. It’s so weird. The place my two fingers grab is the only flat part of that brake lever. Ha ha

Been riding hundreds of miles like this. Without noticing

I think I might just leave it and tell people it’s a custom gravimetric front brake enhancement lever that gives you more power with less potential to wash out / skid

You could sell those levers as a training devise for using two fingers. ;) :lmao:

Ummm...... change that. Soon. Says alot...... While you are already in the area, splurge for grips too.

KSSK 12-22-2021 10:34 PM

Has anyone found replacement levers for these?

franque 12-23-2021 02:38 AM

That should be an easy fix with a propane torch, slowly bending it back with a wrench fitted around the lever.
