how to take my exaust off JUST THE TIP!!
 

whats up guys.
orderd the starter for my bike today. te gears were grinded down my poppop said he said i was lucky i didnt fuck hte engine gears up.

okay heres my question

its obviously sealed. but i wanna cut the tip off so theres no little nipple and the cap. i just want it to be open...and loud.

what will this effect?>
and how do i go about doing this.

Opening up the exhaust will make the bike run leaner, too lean and you'll melt a hole in the piston. The way around that is to rejet the carb (search for it, there's a bunch of threads on the subject). You can get away with opening it up some with the stock jetting.

If you ride on any public land, leave the pipe alone. Loud bikes tend to tick off other people and get riding areas closed down. Plus you might remove the spark arrestor and start a fire.

A hacksaw, Dremel... just about anything will cut the pipe, they are thin. A Sawzall would do it in a hurry... just make sure you have asteady hand!
