have anyone bought a gy200 from atv-n-more a ebay dealer from texas
thay have a gy200 for $1199 with free shipping its $200.00 cheaper than motorcycle- scooter.com and they have it in white but motorcycle n scooter seem to be a better dealer with insured shipping

Do you have a link? I was not able to find the seller.

weiser23 01-25-2011 10:23 AM

I have only a number if you go to ebay and hit 370410639239
and the other bike I was looking at for $200 more is at motorcycle-scooters.com

Looks like decent feedback, but they say nothing about registration or paperwork. If it is off-road only probably a good deal.

FYI. PA is a state that is tough to register chinese bikes.

Also the bike in the auction is a typical GY2 style china bike.

I know nothing of the selling, but I would get this bike.

Great Q but some people have gotten them for less than $1,700 and shipping is extra....

Cal25 01-25-2011 12:47 PM

Like Katoranger said, Pa is one of the dificult states to register in. You should get VIN noumber from the seller and contact your DMV to see if you can register it.

The Q is a great bike that can be registered in Pa.

FastDoc 01-25-2011 12:49 PM

The Q, even at that price, is a much better bike/value than the GY-2. :D

weiser23 01-25-2011 02:29 PM

i did e mail them and the reply was it is a street dirt bike and the title comes with it

weiser23 01-25-2011 02:42 PM

the other bike was not a Q it was at motorcyces-scooters.com
roketa db 200 xy for 1395. including shipping and insurance on the shipping epa approved & certifed

katoranger 01-25-2011 02:59 PM

For the extra money you will be much happier with the Q. It is considered a high end china bike and parts are easily found.

Almost a copy of a suzuki dr200.

With the trouble others have had in PA, I would be extremely hesistant to order online.

The local dealer will have the responsibility of getting it legal for you.

That still does not make it DOT approved.

I checked and it looked like the Q was about 3 hours away from you. Definately worth the drive and be able to avoid shipping/assembly/registration issues and get a known good china bike.

FastDoc 01-25-2011 03:11 PM

Seems like a pretty clear choice to me. If you don't have to pay to ship the Q that's a slam dunk. Its for all intents and purposed identical to a DR200SE at less than 1/2 price.

My Q is right outside my office window right now. It does everything from trails to commuting duty.

That statement right there would make me run. The DMV of your state is the one that isues a title. They dont just come with the bike.

FastDoc 01-25-2011 04:53 PM

Good point. The bike comes with a bill of sale, MSO, and it should have an odometer certificate. I don't like the sound of this...
