I had the same issue on the 2 zstars I used to...
I had the same issue on the 2 zstars I used to have.
I finally went out, and replaced EVERY critical bolt on the quads with good quality bolts with lock nuts and lock washers and some loctite.

Possible wet clutch work needed but engine runs great supposedly.
I can handle some minor transmission work, plus if it is a good candidate I may do the big bore kit on...

Looking for another Yamaha Grizzly 600
I am going to move my 15yr old son up from his Bruin 350 to the 600 and then put my 14 yr old son on the Bruin 350.
This way we all have 4x4 quads.
