Old post… was having the same issue. Replaced the clutch lever assembly and attached it 1/2 to far towards the hand grip…!!!! Arrrg!

Anyone have a link to a relay that will work? Thanks for the selinoid link. I’m just going to swap them out. Still haven’t had a chance to look at the bike. If it kick starts it starts lol.

Oh No HELP - 2016 Hawk 250 Starting Issues

Hi all!

I’ve read a bunch of threads and still have issue.

So the Hawk starter button over time just stopped working. Now it does nothing when pushed… does not turn over at all. Kill switch...

Going flush the front brake fluid also and try to figure out why the rear brakes aren’t working at all. Zero pressure. My guess is a stuck piston…

Oh No HELP - Not the Normal Front Wheel Wobble.

So I did a fork fluid change on the Hawk the other day.

Everything came off and went back on fine.

The ride was great but a pronounced front wheel wobble started a day or two later… you can’t...

So I just left work and hopped on the Hawk to go home after a heavy rain a couple of hours ago. Bike started right up buy upon throttling it was bogging/backfiring big time! Barely no power at all…...

Are there any grease points that I should hit with some grease? Spokes look good… really can’t think of anything else. I swapped out most of the bulbs with some leds…...

Thanks for your help. I ended up using a 130/50 with the needle in the middle and it ran fin as far as I can tell.
