My 8 and 10 year old son/daughter have the 110cc version. I have not had a problem with these quads I can suggest that you always make sure the bolts are not loose before riding and invest in locktite. My Daughter just crashed hers at 25mpg, it went air born and flipped twice and landed upside down in a 8 foot ditch, bent the handle bar and two flat tires, broke the head light mount and bent the steering pole, cost to fix has been 65.00 so far. The quad fired up after sitting up-right for 15 minutes. MY son jumps his quad all the time, matter fact, two nights ago he climbed a 20 foot hill that was about 35-40 degrees and down the other side jumping the top of the hill with np. I have a xr200r and a 08 taotao 250cc atv and he hangs with me just fine under 30+mph. I would buy another with np. Good Luck.
