Update: I went ahead and made them work. took out the socket and soldered on my wires directly to the bulb, taped it up, put a rubber ring around it and wedged it in the casing. So they fit :P All that may sound gruesome but it's really sturdy and feels more rugged than the way they came. They're really nice turn signals for the money, much better than my stock, good plastic. I would have liked to leave them the way they were but....you know. Gotta work with what you got. Waiting on the other two turn signals for the front to arrive.

Now to finish working on the dash's LED's.

I forget the part number for the 1156, LED bulbs I purchased. Did you get the WPS Oval Turn Signals? Yes, my LED bulbs fit into the WPS Oval turn signals without a problem. In an event, I'm glad you found a solution, and got the bubs installed, MBF.
