It could be a good buy, but Pioneer falls into a category that I call "premium GY 200" territory. Kind of interesting considering that not too many people have heard of them, and dealers are very far and few between. In fact, when I emailed them, they told me to contact one of their dealers in Lousiana (I live in Arizona) who might have some bikes.

Verucci is another company that has a premium GY bike, and Diamo is another.

I think that they do go over the bikes and utilize superior hardware...but they charge a premium as compared to the cost of the more common GY's we have available in the US. The bikes, however, look pretty much the same as a more common GY, such as a Jetmoto or Roketa which can be had for close to half of what the premium dealers charge.
