My latest project is to finally get my '05 Yamaha TT-R250 streetlegal. I've been riding the bike on the highway, a little! Don't tell! Anyway, the last hurdle is to mount the Trail Tech computer with a permanent odometer, get the inspection done, the inspection papers filled out and the pictures taken of the additions. This will get me a new streetlegal title and a new plate. New Kenda DOT tires have also been ordered. I still need to check to see if those are in and pick them up. This bike will be used both on & off-road, so I decided to go with the more off-road oriented Trail Tech Vector computer. I'd like to ride the complete Trans-America trail with this bike. It will be my main ride this coming year as my KTM 950 is up for sale and now advertised.
My other project is to get my Zongshen X-Ranger 200 turned into an off-road/hunting atv replacement. I'll keep the bike streetlegal so it can be used locally. I may commute a bit on the bike but it will be geared lower for off-road use. This may make commuting tough. New bigger black wheels and a new camo paint job are on the list for that bike, along with fixing the leak and straightening the frame.
